About Me
The TL;DR
The Engineer
Building in parallel
I'm a Software Engineer in motion — simultaneously a Tier 2 Support Engineer at a high-availability Fintech SaaS company (Jifiti) and a Computer Science student at HIT, on track to graduate in 2026. Every week I debug production incidents by day and study algorithms by night. I genuinely enjoy both.
The Passion
At the AI frontier
My deep interest lies at the intersection of AI, Computer Vision, and robust backend engineering. Whether that's training a PyTorch model, querying a misbehaving database, or integrating an API that refuses to cooperate — I find backend puzzles energizing. I'm particularly excited by the way GenAI and diffusion models are reshaping what software can do, and I want to be close to that frontier.
The Journey
An unconventional path
My path to software wasn't a straight line. I led a 15-person platoon operating radar and EW systems at sea in the Israeli Navy. I ran global field tests on drone software across four countries. Now I investigate high-stakes Fintech incidents under pressure. That arc means I'm a calm problem-solver, a fast learner in unfamiliar domains, and someone who has operated in high-stakes environments long before writing production code.
Experience & Education
From naval operations to software engineering — built on systems thinking.
Tier 2 Software Support Engineer
Jifiti
- Investigate production incidents on a high-availability Fintech SaaS platform — from initial triage to root cause, using SQL and deep log analysis.
- Built Python analytics pipelines to surface business insights from transaction and traffic data.
- Collaborate embedded in an R&D Agile squad, validating backend fixes through CI/CD pipelines before they ship.
B.Sc. Computer Science (In Progress)
Holon Institute of Technology (HIT)
- Specialising in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision — coursework spans Deep Learning, Algorithms, Databases, and Communication Networks.
- Applying classroom ML theory directly to side projects: PyTorch, OpenCV, diffusion models, and real-world data pipelines.
Software QA Specialist
Hartech Technologies
- Ran 50+ field tests across international sites for drone (UAV) and UGV Command-and-Control software.
- Delivered on-site client training and system integration support in multiple countries.
- Identified and resolved defects in C2 systems alongside cross-functional engineering teams.
C2 System Operator & Team Lead
Israeli Navy
- Operated radar, sonar, and electronic warfare systems aboard a 3rd Fleet naval vessel in real-time operational conditions.
- Coordinated multi-platform intelligence integration with Air Force units (UAVs, jets) under pressure.
- Led a 70-person crew and a 15-person specialist platoon — accountability was non-negotiable.
